Regulative Heart is dedicated to enriching the Church with music rooted in sound doctrine. Their songs invite you to listen attentively and enjoy, and some may even sung in the church. While they’re not intended to replace the study and meditation of Scripture, they serve as a beautiful companion to deepen your moments of meditation and reflection.
Our music draws inspiration directly from Scripture, classic hymns like those found in Gadsby's Hymnal, Psalms, and other biblical passages, thoughtfully adapted into a variety of musical styles. You'll experience a blend ranging from mellow ballads to softer rock, and from Celtic influences to country. We encourage you to explore all our tracks—you’re sure to discover new favorites. The songs of Regulative Heart are curated, adapted and produced by Greg Pearson of Tennessee. Greg has served the Lord’s church in various roles over the last 44 years, including Pastor, Minister of Music, Student Pastor, Associate Pastor, and Elder in a Reformed Baptist Church. After suffering a debilitating stroke in December 2021, limiting his ability to continue to serve in those roles, Greg has turned his attention to bringing these important songs, in various musical styles, to as many of God’s people as possible. Now, in partnership with Monergism.com, Greg is in the process of writing a short devotional intro for each song as you will find each week in the Monergism.com blog.
