How to Open and Use eBooks on Your Mobile Devices

For iPhone and iPad Users:

Using Apple Books (formerly iBooks):

  1. Open Safari (not your Facebook app) and navigate to the download page.
  2. Tap on the EPUB file link.
  3. A prompt will appear; tap "Open in Books" (or "Open in Apple Books") to save and view the file.

Using Kindle App for iPhone/iPad:

  1. Open Safari and access the download page.
  2. Tap on the EPUB link to download the file.
  3. Select "Open in Kindle" from the share options or follow the instructions for sending the file to your Kindle library (see below).

For Android Users:

Using Google Play Books:

  1. Open Chrome or your default browser (not your Facebook app) and visit the download page.
  2. Tap on the EPUB link. It should automatically open in Google Play Books if the app is set as default.
  3. If not, download the EPUB file, then upload it to Google Play Books manually by opening the app and selecting "Upload a file" from the menu.

Alternative ePub Reader Apps:

  • Lithium: A free and lightweight app available on the Google Play Store for reading EPUB files.

For Kindle Users on Android and iOS:

Important Note:
Amazon Kindle now supports EPUB files for new eBook uploads. The older MOBI format is no longer accepted.

Four Methods to Add EPUB Files to Your Kindle Library:

  1. Direct Download:

    • Open the EPUB link on your device.
    • Once downloaded, the file should automatically appear in the Kindle app (this works only on the device where the file was downloaded).
  2. Amazon’s “Send to Kindle” Feature:

    • Install the free Send to Kindle app from Amazon.
    • Use the app to wirelessly upload the EPUB file to your Kindle library. The file will sync across all your Kindle devices.
  3. Email Upload:

    • Attach the EPUB file to an email and send it to your Kindle’s email address (e.g., [email protected] or [email protected]).
    • The file will appear in your Kindle library after syncing.
  4. USB Transfer:

    • Connect your Android or other device to a computer via USB.
    • Copy the EPUB file into the "documents" folder within the Kindle directory.
