Question: What happened to your sermon manuscript link? I found it a wonderful resource. Keep us all posted.
Answer: Thank you for your question. We have combined MP3s, Sermon Manuscripts and Commentaries all under one link now for your convenience. Go to the Monergism.com home page and look underneath the search bar you will see four choices 1) Topic 2) Author 3) Scripture and 4) Series.
If you click either Old or New Testament under the "Scripture" selection it will take you to a new page which displays a list of all the books of either the Old or New Testament, whichever you select. Click on a book of the Bible and it will display a drop down menu with two choices:
A1) MP3s by Scripture (which has MP3 on every chapter of the Bible). We have gathered MP3s for Reformed sermons and lectures over many years so now we have 10s of thousands of useful links in this section.
or
A2) Sermon Manuscripts and Commentaries.
This link will give you access to written sermon manuscripts, commentaries, introductions, outlines, studies and other resources for every book of the Bible.
If you have a smart phone the MP3 by Chapter of Scripture section is perhaps the part of the site you will use most because you can download the files directly to you phone in a smart phone size window.

2) Question Can you make it possible to switch back to the old format for those of us who hate the new format?
If you don't care for the orange discreet vocabulary on the left you can avoid it altogether if you click down through the topic button. It has no discreet vocabulary on the left and behaves just like the old site. Everything that was available before in the topics is still there if you click "topic view all" or "authors view all" from the home page. All the old quotes and old links are still there as well.
But let me stress, it isn't just a change in the look, it is a major upgrade to the functionality which would not be possible in the old format. It is about content delivery, usability, ease of finding what you are looking for and ease of navigation. And now even has a smart phone capability - impossible with the old site.
To be frank, I had the same exact response from people in my previous upgrade a couple of years ago. Some people hated it and that is understandable because it is like losing an old friend. But if you understand the magnitude of what you can now do with the search and how to interact with it, you will understand why the change was made. Take some time to interact with it and the changes.

3) Comment: one thing I miss on the old Monergism is the update section that highlighted new material. Other than that it looks great!!
Response: thank you, the "update section" has actually been improved and expanded. Our new Monergism blog will serve a similar function of highlighting new and useful links from around the web as well as allow a space of guest posts, free eBooks and the like. Look for some upcoming guest posts that will not dissapoint you.
