James Orr

Scottish theologian James Orr discusses the crises that have enveloped the church over the centuries and how the various doctrines in the church’s theology have developed as a result. James Orr (1844-1913) wrote in the heyday of liberal Protestantism, and by his exposition and defense of key doctrines, he stood for historic evangelism. His chief work in apologetics is A CHRISTIAN VIEW OF GOD AND THE WORLD. He is also the author of the INTERNATIONAL STANDARD BIBLE ENCYCLOPEDIA.
