Indeed, Has Paul Really Said (.pdf) 1.89MB
Most of you are aware of the teachings of N.T. Wright. He is the Bishop of Durham and author of What Saint Paul Really Said – a book that has gained a great deal of influence in the modern church - especially in what is called the Emergent Church movement. Overall, I am convinced that his writings may impact the church for generations to come, and to be quite frank, what he is teaching concerning the doctrine of justification is disturbing. Sadly, many in the contemporary church are parroting his nuanced theology. To address these matters, I have written a small booklet critiquing Wright’s view of justification (link below). It is very near completion, and I welcome others to read it in order to offer their thoughts on the work – from revising points that may not be clear, to flagging typos and split infinitives. Additionally, I am offering this as a work for the general edification of all who read it, and I would encourage you to distribute it openly (with permission) as a means of addressing this rising tide within the modern church.
