THE RESURRECTION OF THE BODY IS PERHAPS THE MOST NEGLECTED OF THE central doctrines of our faith. That the resurrection of the body is at the very heart of the Christian faith should be quite evident. The Christian faith centres in the death and resurrection of Christ: the heart of its proclamation is thus the death and resurrection of that body. In 1 Corinthians 15, Paul declares therefore that those who deny the doctrine of the resurrection of the dead overthrow the entire scheme of redemption.
